A GREAT Bible for Toddlers!

Photobucket

Since becoming a blow book review for Thomas Nelson I have been getting hooked up with some awesome books to read to my son! This one is SO GREAT! I LOVE IT!
My 16 month old son loves books! He especially LOVES this Bible! We read certain Bible stories several times before we watched the corresponding story on the DVD. He is really not big into cartoons, but after having read the story, he recognized the characters on the DVD and loved it! It's such a great alternative to most of the junk that is on tv today. I give this book 5 stars! If I could give it six stars, I would! Definitely a must have!

Coupon Mania!

Did you get the paper this past weekend? I did! I got a few copies, actually :)
If you bought a couple, I just thought I'd give you a tip on how to save time when clipping away.
Separate the coupon inserts. (i.e. put the Red Plum w/the Red Plum, the SmartSource w/the Smartsource....etc.)
Then stack each page on top of their respective duplicate and cut at the same time. This save a TON of time. You know...two birds...one stone....

Also, I refilled my ink this past weekend at Office Max for $10 and now I am able to print the fabulous coupons below!

You can print all your Red Plum Coupons here

Here's a current list (yours may be different depending on your zip code):

$1.00 off Colgate Max Whitening Toothpaste
$2.00 off Scott paper towels - long lasting roll 4pk
$2.00 off Centrum Ultra
$1.00 off 3 Del Monte SuperFruit Cups (refrig. section)
$1.00 off 3 Del Monte Fruit Naturals Cups (refrig section)
$1.00 off Del Monte Fruit Chillers (cups or tubes)
$1.50 off 2 Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats, All Bran or Raisin Bran
$1.00 off Caltrate
$1.00 off Marzetti dressing
50 cents off Kellogg's Yogos fruit snacks
$1.50 off Ponds wet cleansing towelettes
55 cents off Kretschmar Deli product
$1.00 off Glen Oaks drinkable yogurt
$5 off Wrinkle Free eye product
$10 free play with purchase of $10 game play at Dave & Busters

By the way, the Del Monte Fruit Chillers tubes are AWESOME! They are $2 at Wal-Mart, so with the above coupon, it would only be $1!

Ukrops this week

Just a reminder that Ukrops has daily specials every week. They are the same every week as well.
Also, this week only, Ukrops has locally grown peaches on sale for .98 cents/lb! Time to make some peach cobbler! Yum!!!!!

Getting spoiled w/school supplies!

You KNOW your getting spoiled with great deals on school supplies when your child asks you to buy them some highlighters and they are "on sale" for $1 and you say "That's Expensive....I can get that at Walgreens for .29 cents"!
I am seriously stockpiling school supplies over here! Yesterday, I went to Office Max and my daughter and I each had a transacation.
Each transaction:
3 rulers (0.1 cents each)
3 packs of wide ruled filler paper (.10 cents each)
6 folders (.25 cents each)
3 packs of 12. count #2 pencils (.10 cents each)
2 composition books (.50 cents each)
Grand total: $3.13!

Now, obviously she is not going to need 6 rulers and all of these composition books we have been stocking up on lately. Remember, local churches and charity groups LOVE school supply donations! Our church is currently hosting a school supply drive for the inner city children of Richmond. Whenever I see a great sale like this, I stock up and donate! The same goes for food! So, if you see something that is on sale at an unbelievable price, be sure to pass the savings on to someone in need!
I plan on going back a few times this week to get more stuff for our church!
