On sale 3/$5, plus use the coupons from past newspapers (sorry, not sure if they are red plum or smart source!) one is .25 cents off one, then use .50 cents off two coupon to get $1.50 off!

Duncan Hines Brownie Mix- FREE plus overage!
On sale 2/$1, plus use the .55 cents off two coupon found in the paper (again, sorry, not sure which paper or what insert!), which takes off $1.10, making them free!

If you were one of the lucky few who received coupons for Kashi Go Lean cereal from Shespeaks.com, you can use your $1.50 off one and pay only $1 for the cereal!

Reddi Whip spray whip cream is on sale 2/$4, use your .50 cents off coupon from the paper and get it for $1!

French's Fried Onions on sale for $2.99, use your .50 cents off coupon from the paper (I think this one was in the Parade magazine) and that will make it $1.99! Now, remember that Kroger doubles up to .50 cents every day, so you might get an even better deal at Kroger on this one.

As I was perusing the diet section at Ukrops today, I noticed that their Special K2O Protein Water was on sale for $1.15 (down from the regular $1.57). Not bad, right? Well, then I took a second look and saw that many of them had coupons attached to them for .55 cents off! Well, since today is super double coupons at Ukrops, I got $1.10 off each one, making them only .05 cents each! Forget about looking at the John Rolfe YMCA, but all the other ones should have them! Kabul 24 Book Review

As a Thomas Nelson book review blogger, I have the priveledge to read and review many wonderful books! This was not an exception!
Kabul 24 is a story that grabs your attention from the very first sentence and then takes you into a world we see in the media but never quite grasp the inhumane conditions for both citizens and prisoners alike. Just prior to the 9/11 attacks, an organization called Shelter Now International was working in Afghanistan to help the people have the basic needs of life; medical care, food, shelter, education, and a hope for the future. Much to their surprise, eight of the international workers (and 16 nationals) are taken prisoner. As I read it, I was horrified at the conditions that the "prisoners" were forced to live in and inspired by their commitment to God and their unyielding love the Afghan people. While we all watch the news reports from around the world and think that someone should do something to help, these people stepped out in faith to lend humanitarian aid. Even while being persecuted, they never failed to have faith that their God was bigger than the problems they were facing and could use their circumstances to His glory. The impact they have on those around them is amazing!
If you need to read a compelling story, this would be the perfect book for you!

I went to JCPenney last night and I found the BEST deal!
They had just put out TONS of name brand hair products on clearance! I was able to snag two HUGE (I'm talking Costco size, here) bottles of Tigi Bed Head Shampoo AND conditioner for a grand total of $5!
They were on a table that was marked 70% off, making them $9.99. Then, the sign indicated an additional 40% off the lowest marked price! When I got to the register, the lady said it's actually 50% off the lowest marked price, making the set a mere $5!!!!!
What a steal!!!!!
